Bye bye Luna I’m off to work..

Getting set for another Kraftbomb and it’s the end of another busy month…  Sunday was fun, loads of people, so nice to have a little chat with shoppers and other craftsers.  I’ve been thinking I ought to share some of the goodness that other clever makers bring to the market, so here you go, a couple of photos and a few links..

My table is all set up, so a few quick photos of others getting organised.  Kristen from the lovely Cheekpinchy, she sells pretty things on Felt.co.nz too, so go take a look, if you’re a Facebooker, she has a page here.

Elizabeth from Zippty doo dah makes COOL stuff.  Don’t you love the bears?  (And check out that tablecloth!!)  See her Felt.co.nz shop here.

Flossy’s Fancy…. rabbits AND beautiful vintage fabric, how can you not want one?  I own one of her beautiful purses…  Maybe you saw her at the Auckland Art and Craft Fair?

I haven’t seen this woman’s work before, and it’s lovely, check out these felty flowers.

How about these for snuggly winter hottie covers?  Adventures of Alex O and Co sell on Felt.

I love the elephants, and the owls seem to always popular for crafters, the felt is delicious and thick too.

Stella and Melanie

Finally I have some photos of my two new sea horses, I will list them on Felt.co.nz this week, they’re so pretty.  These ones are made from vintage sheets, I wash them in hot water and line dry them in the sun, only using the best parts, no marks and stains!  These girls are so soft and snuggly.

peach and blue close up

I just wanted to share these new needle books…  they are so pretty and very useful!

large midnight moon

I’ve started listing photos of my work on my Facebook page so you can browse there if you use it and purchase directly from me, great if you can’t get out to markets regularly!  They come with two felt ‘pages’, a needle and pin, are compact and easy to post, so a good little gift for someone special.

Here is one of my Heart needle books, all hand cut and hand sewn.

three sheets

We had a few days away in Katikati, and I stopped in at Paeroa for a change and had a bit of a wander around, the secondhand shops are usually interesting, though a bit pricey.  I ducked into the Salvation Army shop, and found these lovely sheets, two singles, and the pink flowery ones are a pair, and I bought them for $9 – what a score!

yellow sheet

I really love this yellow sheet, I’d like to make something for me out of it, but I’m not sure what, I think it’d also make a beautiful seahorse…  but I need to find homes for the ones I have here before I make any more.

This green one is still quite soft, and maybe will make a nice sea shell?  Not sure yet, maybe it will be a comfy sheet.

I’ve been around on fb for a while now and I’m making some exciting new changes, I’m sharing my projects, kind of like here but with more photos, and now I’m uploading catalogues so you can buy directly from me!  At present I’m just selling and shipping in New Zealand, but will be working on getting out to a wider audience – just need to sort out Paypal deets and shipping..

In the meantime, go take a look, I have listed these pretty needle wallets, all hearts for Valentine’s Day…
