Well, I’ve been pretty slack lately and as you can see there have been too few posts for a few months…

The thing is that I’m pregnant and have been down and out with the dreaded morning sickness, which we all know, is, for most women 24hr sickness. Things are easing up a tad – also the falling asleep as soon as I stop moving has lifted somewhat with afternoon (and sometimes morning!) naps happening about every other day instead of everyday as soon as I have arrived home after work…

For those interested, I’m now seventeen weeks along, the baby is apparently about 12 cm long, looks pretty much like a really small baby – but still has a biggish head. It (I have to stop calling It ‘It’ I know) Baby has all it’s organs, it’s fingers and toes, is doing somersaults and wriggling around, and is ‘breathing’ the amniotic fluid. Isn’t that sweet. I was talking to another host body the other night, and she said this is the 9 months of your life were you’ll receive the most unsolicited advice ever (as a ‘first time’ mother ) and I have to say that’s about right so far. So many decisions seem to have huge political implications, and I’m sure I’ll be freaking-out a few people along the way…
