Crafternoon Tea was a little quiet on the weekend, but as usual lots of fun seeing all the clever crafters and I even came home with a little treat for myself! I swapped a cupcake pincushion for a cool octopus necklace made by Karin from Exter Creative. SO exciting as I had been drooling over one I had seen listed on Felt.co.nz ages ago so all in all it was an excellent day.

I started these at about the same time our strawberry plants started to produce a few strawberries of their own, first a couple of smallish strawberries and then I just had to go bigger! I put a bell in a couple of them for fun, come and see them at the next Crafternoon Tea or Kraftbomb.

And discovered that there is this world of collectors and people selling them on Trademe and everything.
And, well I couldn’t resist, I’m still unsure as to whether my mum still has kept my one – Almond Tea (the party pleaser variation) and so I have had to take matters into my own hands… and I now am the proud owner of Angelcake and Cafe Ole, and I’m so happy! Hopefully all my earnings from Kraftbomb will not be spent on aquiring more.
