I just wanted to share these new needle books…  they are so pretty and very useful!

I’ve started listing photos of my work on my Facebook page so you can browse there if you use it and purchase directly from me, great if you can’t get out to markets regularly!  They come with two felt ‘pages’, a needle and pin, are compact and easy to post, so a good little gift for someone special.

I’ve been around on fb for a while now and I’m making some exciting new changes, I’m sharing my projects, kind of like here but with more photos, and now I’m uploading catalogues so you can buy directly from me!  At present I’m just selling and shipping in New Zealand, but will be working on getting out to a wider audience – just need to sort out Paypal deets and shipping..

And these Don’t Give Me The Chop!  Carrots are cool too.  They’re actually huge, about 50cms long each!

I always think going away will yeild more time for creative projects, reading, maybe a bit of sewing, maybe watching a movie.. but the way it works is I usually get more done at home.  I have a couple of pretty needle books almost finished, and some bigger projects happening now.

Bigger as in newer ideas, they always take a bit of time and fiddling around to perfect.  Look at all these ginger bread dolls I have to cut out!  This month, a few days away with family actually allowed me to get some work underway, very little sleep, but more work.

I’m also getting onto these astronauts…  Luna is very excited about these little guys (I am too).

And Mermaid’s Purse will be there.  I’m so excited, I’ve been mad busy sewing, stuffing, cutting, trimming and naming loads of lovely treats for you to take home.

Tomorrow I have some pretty snugly sea horses needing new homes, and a nice bunch of Don’t Give Me The Chop! Carrots, and some very exciting Make Your Own Cupcake Pincushion Kits.  The pincusion kits have been a while in the making and I figure this months Auckland Art Craft Fair is THE place to launch them for all you craft loving shoppers..
